NET EXTENDER MODULE

Fully-Rugged, Thunderbolt™ 4 dongle with 2x Thunderbolt™ 4, 3x USB 3.2 and 4x GigE ports

Why Thunderbolt™ 4

Thunderbolt™ 4 is a superset of USB-4. Where USB-4 is capable of up to 20 Gbps and USB 3.2 of 10Gbps, Thunderbolt™ 4 operates at 40 Gbps and soon to be launched ThunderBolt™ 5 at 80Gbps. It also supports up to 6 “Daisy Chained” devices including displays.

Thunderbolt™ technology requires no software drivers or third party support and is hot-swappable by default with self-configuration, allowing modules to be added and removed as needed without the risk of damaging hardware within the system. Like USB, there is no limitation on the number of devices added to the system and it’s FREE with no additional hardware of software tools required.

As industry-leading technologies, USB and Thunderbolt™ are guaranteed to continue to support long life cycle applications and are designed to maintain backwards compatibility to USB 2.0.
